Custom Suspension Work
This project involved adapting the entire suspension assembly from another car. A common method of accomplishing this requires two large bolt holes to be drilled vertically through the chassis rails, one on each side of the chassis. Rather than compromising chassis strength with these holes, and knowing the stock steering set-up would not be used, we designed mounts that took advantage of the existing bushed steering box mounting holes on each side of the chassis. The design of the mount also corrected the camber change that can occur with other designs. These mounts and the rest of our custom components have successfully completed many hours of endurance racing.
